Indiana prosecutor told Wisconsin governor to stage ‘false flag’ operation

An Indiana deputy prosecutor and Republican activist resigned Thursday after the Wisconsin Center for Investigative Journalism uncovered an email to Gov. Scott Walker in which he suggested a fake attack on the governor to discredit union protesters.

First of all ...let me say I was wrong about what would happen when the 14 Democratic Senators came back to Wisconsin. I really thought the Republicans were going to drag them into chambers and vote on the full bill that they had escaped from, causing no need to continue that court case.

Wow.. can I think more evil than even Republicans?

Maybe the only thing allowing the middle class to survive at all here is that the Republicans are ALMOST as incompetent as our side.

They're just like those old super-villians from the old Batman show.

Joe McLiberal Secret Sauce 1/4 cup mayonnaise - I use "Americas Choice" the store brand from A&P and Pathmark 1/4 cup Miracle Whip 2 heaping tablespoons of that bright orange french dressing (freedom dressing to our friends on the right) 2 heaping teaspoons dill relish 1 tablespoon sweet relish 1 teaspoon sugar 1 teaspoon dried, minced onion (mince a real onion..the jar stuff kinda makes you think you're eating sand) 1 teaspoon white vinegar 1 teaspoon ketchup 1/8 teaspoon salt Mix all that stuff up really good... Microwave it for 30 sec.. Mix it again..... Microwave for 15 sec.. Mix one more time.... (better than you ever mixed anything in your life) Cover and put it in the fridge over night. When you wake up... you'll think it's Christmas morning and you'll be putting the stuff on everything. BTW... its VERY good on Turkey sandwiches. Just sayin'

There's lots of recipes out there...some are very close. I think this is as close as I've ever been. Give it a try... let me know what you think.

And if you want to try Big Macs...the burgers themselves need some changes too...basically you want to make them very thin...and you want them to taste less like meat and more like a giant salt-lick. Most of my Big Mac experiments have failed with the pattys. I'm still working on those but its tough when you're limited to a frying pan and a kitchen stove.

First let me say your salary or benefits are not to blame for the budgets and should never be.

This is 100% class war where rich people are trying to have EVERYTHING and they are playing the middle class against itself in order to do it.

There is a good percentage of private middle class voters that will help the rich get more wealthy at their own expense... and it's because they are mad at YOU, Sue.

And I'm going to tell you a horrible truth about why they are mad and why the rich are able to capitalize on this anger.

You've all heard the term "enabler".

I'm one.

Joe, I don't know all the details of your situation, but I feel for you. I too had an addicted family member. It's a nightmare. But you can't let it affect your life. He made a bad choice. He's going to have to want help to get help. You will have to let him hit "rock bottom" and only then will he seek out treatment. Just don't be an enabler. That makes it worse. Have you tried Alanon? They can probably assist you. Good luck GL

I get a lot of private emails about this ...asking details and offering advice... I really appreciate all of it. And to an extent I agree with most of what you say...

I don't agree that he has to hit rock bottom. People shouldn't have to hit rock bottom. I don't agree about Alanon or any 12 step BS - that's 100% religious insanity that does no good. I understand the tough love thing but there is also an aspect that with laws the way they are, if you let things run it's legal course you will destroy a kids entire life by using tough love. I'm taking my chances that things will get better BEFORE rock bottom and helping along the way here and there with certain things. I know its not likely to be a good outcome but neither is writing him off.

This situation, along with the passing of both my parents over the past couple years has been the cause for a great amount of sadness and financial problems. It has been the cause of Joeliberal.com virtually disappearing off the internet over the last two years. Now it's down to just the addiction thing but It also seems like it's going to come to a head soon....

Here is more details than I planned to ever put on here.... This will answer a lot of emails I've received.

 

JOE LIBERAL THE ENABLER

You see, I've had a friend of the family that I've known for 15 years now. When he was a little kid his dad used to tell him how he'd never amount to be anything but a burger flipper...and that when he grows up, he'll probably be an addict like his mom who is living in a trailer in another part of the state. This kid was a very depressed little kid... He has a learning disability....nothing major but its there....could never spell..like many kids coming out of school, borderline illiterate. The kid (I'll call him Bill ...not really his name) Bill, would go out to play and his Dad and Step mom wouldn't give him a key. They'd give him the code to the garage door. If he wasn't home on time, they would have the door automatically set to change codes and Bill would spend the night walking the streets.

Bill was eventually befriended by a group of kids who did drugs... Bill started slow and smoked pot. The school found out and made him attend this place that rehabs school kids off drugs... they show them these corny anti-drug movies made by some douchebag in a suit that has never done drugs. They put them together in groups and have little meetings... (in one group Bill met this cool new friend Dave, who taught Bill how to make home made acid). One night a week was "family night" where the kids and councilors and the parents would sit and work out any issues the kid or families would have that may be causing the problems... Bill's dad or step mom never showed up for family night. This rehab place..like 99.9% of them all practice the "12 steps" of rehab that you hear about in AA meetings and NA meetings. When they all got to "step 4" they forced Bill to write a 2 page apology to his Dad and Step Mom - for being such a fuck up and for embarrassing them by being a drug addict. He wrote it and sent it. When they finished the 28 days of "treatment"...he was allowed back to school where he resumed his friendships with the "bad kids".

Joeliberal.com factoid: Charlie Sheen has said a lot of nutty things... mostly because he is good at marketing crazyness. One of the things he says however that is NOT CRAZY at all... is what he says about AA and NA. He's right on the money about that useless religious cult. They never give you a "success rate" because at best its dismal. I'd have to wonder how many deaths could have been prevented by not telling someone that they are powerless and the reason they are in this mess is because they're a moral fuck up....and that if you don't keep coming to meetings they'll be that same fuck up for the rest of their pitiful godless life.

 

When his Dad lost his drivers license (another fun story) they announced to Bill that they would be unable to drive him to school 9 miles away and although he was 16 they refused to sign the parental permission form that the state makes you get to get a drivers permit. This was to teach Bill a lesson.

This is kind of when I came in. I decided to get up an hour early for work and drive Bill to school.. I decided to help him with some of the subjects he was failing (most all of them). I listened to his problems and offered as much advice as I could, which I'm afraid wasn't very much.

In the end...two years later... he GRADUATED HIGH SCHOOL. A picture of him and me at his graduation is one of my most prized possessions. Of course his parents announced that they would not attend and his Dad added "They probably did it just to get you the hell out of school". He was devastated by their boycott but he graduated anyway.

On his 18th birthday, he was allowed (as an adult) to go to motor vehicles and get his own permit. So 6 months after his 18th birthday he was driving finally.

Also on his 18th birthday he was thrown out of his house. He moved in with his druggie friends who by now had been doing everything from extasy to prescription pills to coke to heroin. Bill really took to heroin. Apparently it makes all your problems go away...along with your teeth and friends and money.

 

Joeliberal.com factoid: Warning to parents in NJ suburbs....if your kid hangs around with dirtbags and you suspect him of doing drugs... hes doing heroin. To these stupid kids its what pot was to us in the 70's. it costs less than 10 dollars for a little bag and you can get it everywhere. Check your local police blotters. It's a plague.

 

So Bill ends up spending all his money on the stuff and ends up like most addicts...shooting heroin.

Now the amazing thing about Bill, is that while his friends are all shoplifting and breaking into houses and stealing jewelry and making fake money to get enough funds for their next fix.... Bill holds down a job and uses the money he makes. He "only" does about 40-50 dollars worth a day...which is not a good thing... but is much much less than his friends do. Bill commits no crimes at all other than the crime of "possession". Bill has now been arrested 3 times for possession and its amazing to watch a government take a kid that they know is sick...arrest him over and over for a victimless possession offense...bring him in...release him with a large fine....knowing hes still addicted.....and telling this sick kid not to do it again or there's more fines. When he goes to court there's a swarm of scumbag lawyers on him like seagulls on a french fry..but he can't afford them...he gets a public defender who is paid by the court to not go to trial for anything. So he gets these deals for probation and they just let him go over and over..knowing hes sick. But sick as he is...to them he's a cash cow.

Bill is great at working with his hands and because the probation officer told him he must be working....he landed a good job as a super in an apartment building...and they even gave him a very good free apartment...Bill still doesn't have an offical "criminal record" yet... so his boss there doesn't know about all the problems he's going through. But he wakes up...works til noon when he gets dope sick.... goes and gets 40 dollars worth....does some... (that's his lunch)..works the rest of the day....does a good job.... goes home....does more....watches TV...burns so many holes in his mattress with cigarettes that it looks like swiss cheese.....falls asleep. That's every day for Bill.

His probation officer told him he had to go to rehab...(after getting the job..hahaha) but never checked up on it. In fact in NJ, from what I've seen ...it seems rare that probation officers actually check up on you more than a couple times at most.

So now he's working and supporting his own drug habbit...and getting arrested here and there for having drugs on him in his beat up car (all addicts drive beat up cars..they cant afford to fix minor problems...thats how the police know who to look for for a quick and cool drug arrest) over and over....

Soon...when he FINALLY goes to rehab or jail for more than a weekend...his employer will find out and Bill will learn why its not the best idea in the world to have where you work tied in to where you live...

Then this kid....who's now 21...and is very skilled at repairing and building things.....that loves animals...and is the friendliest kid you ever want to meet...and who would do anything for anyone that needed anything....

will find out how much fun it is for someone with a criminal record to get a job and a place to live.

 

ANYWAY......

Sorry that was long but it's the background to what is causing me a LOT of stress lately...

I'm an enabler because I'm basically THE pseudo-parent that he doesn't have and I'm the only one that's ever given him a chance and helped him or even gives a shit what's happening to him.

 

I'm an enabler because I loan this kid money for cigarettes, food etc.

Because I've paid for a lawyer to help him not get a criminal record for a victimless crime.

I'm an enabler because I've given him money for "gas" which I knew probably wasn't going for gas.

I've paid for him to go to a SPECIAL PSYCHIATRIAC DOCTOR who charged over 100 dollars for a half hour once every two weeks...so that this guy would see Bill literally for LESS THAN 60 SECONDS....every visit.

Doctor: "Hi, Bill....staying out of trouble? Good.... here you go... its a two week subscription for Suboxone. Do you have insurance? No? Oh, these are quite expensive...OK...see you in two weeks.... you can pay on the way out."

I paid the day he finally decided he would go to detox and we checked him in... the next morning the county prosecutor called and said he MUST attend a court meeting regarding getting into probation (of which one of the conditions was going to detox) and that he had to be there so they made him check out the next morning...then they never made him go to detox.

I've spent a lot of money making sure he gets help when he eventually wants it.

I've spent a lot of money making sure he doesn't commit other crimes while he's addicted.

in the end... we're both behind WAY behind on bills.

He's still spiraling downward.

When the end for him finally comes....he'll end up being dead or turned into a criminal in and out of jail.....(he wont do well in jail...he's too trusting and friendly)

And what I'll have left is the ruins of my bank account and a picture of him and me at his graduation.

Yes, I'm an enabler.

But he never broke into your house or car and never stole anything from anyone in his life.

 

And I'm the only one that ever gave this kid a chance.... and I'd do it again.

They say money doesn't make happiness.

Bullshit.

If I had enough I'd take him and get the hell out of this area... get him in the treatment resort "el Rushbo" went to and some self esteem and I'd get myself far away from NJ.

You know.. the drugs that Heroin addicts pay you money for so they can stay addicted legally and function in society as long as you keep making the drugs that they need every time they have a craving.

Then someone comes along and says... "Hey there's a medicine that you can give an addict that stops most peoples addictions with just one pill with no withdrawl."

The question is...

How much money would you invest into making sure that pill NEVER sees the light of day in the "World's best healthcare system" ?

THE PUBLIC EMPLOYEE ENABLER

In states all over the country...people are finding out two lessons.

1- Democrats are NOT just like Republicans.

2 - If you think your Democrat in office is not doing enough and you stay home and not vote to "teach him a lesson", you will end up paying for it much more than any politician you were trying to affect.

 

The result of not voting...and screwing all of us in the process is a new game plan by the Republican majorities in several states.

What they are doing... you see it in the mid west and in NJ.... is taking middle class people and turning them on public employees - NOT big companies...not millionaires.

Companies are paying good money to stay out of sight and out of mind when it comes to money.

They will pay to have you believe that they're already overtaxed and struggling...while they really pay much less than you'll ever know and are still making record profits while you cant afford to heat your house.

They pay money to make you think that the big bad EPA is preventing them from earning a fair buck...while they are poisoning your kids and still making record profits even with regulations.

And they pay money to remind you that the person you really want to blame is the lady that teaches your kid...or the cop or fireman down the street...because they get better pensions than you do...and they can retire early...and you can't. And they don't work as hard....and that your TAXES are PAYING for these unfair entitlements.

and people eat that up.

Why?

Because they already don't like the public employees.

Why?

 

 

Here's a fact..

All over New Jersey...you have corrupt town officials...Mayors..Council people Business Administrators, code enforcement people...many times they're related to each other... You'll see them making hundreds of thousands of dollars.. You'll see them awarding no-bid contracts to friends and family. Hiring family members to do-nothing jobs for extra money. Covering for each other's corruption. Basically a bunch of crooks. Do people hate them? Do people demand that they fire the "assistant BA"? Or the "Mayors confidential secretary" or that they cut the pay of the Mayor that is also a Senator that is also a superintendent of schools and gets paid salaries for all three even though he hasn't cloned himself to work 24 hours in a single day?

 

Do people hate them? Yeah... a few do... the ones that go to town meetings and read through documents and actually learn what's going on.

Most people have no clue.

Most people that turn on the radio or TV and hear how Sue is working only 9 months out of the year as a teacher... makes as much as they do and is paying less for insurance and is mad because the state wants to make her pay more into her own insurance so that their taxes go down a little. They don't know what goes into doing Sue's job. And when they hear it from some right wing asshole on the radio or one of their fellow clueless right wing Facebook friends forwarded posts...they don't CARE what goes into Sue's job. They just know she's "getting over on them"

God forbid the Business Administrator pays more for his insurance....or the Mayor takes a pay cut..

Why are they after Sue?

It's because they already don't like her.

And its because of one word

ATTITUDE

 

The three titled Mayor and the BA and the happy little corrupt council people all make their rounds ...showing up at the Senior Citizen pancake breakfasts and the town fireworks and the Christmas decorations days...they will go to the diner and shake hands with the public (while not paying the check). They will stand at the post office for 30 minutes shaking hands and asking how things are going and pretending to care. And they get voted back into office year after year after year.

 

Compare that with the teachers. You send your kids off to them and you probably meet them maybe twice a year at most. You don't know their names other than reading it on a report card. The corrupt politicians names are on every bus billboard lawn sign and shopping cart seat in town. A smiling face you never get mad at because you never really deal with personally.

 

BUT Teachers you DO get to deal with personally.....

 

Every year the teachers union runs candidates for Board of Education. Most Board of Ed's are comprised of teachers. This makes it a strange scenario where teachers in many areas actually bargain with THEMSELVES over their pay and benefits. People see that and get mad at that while not seeing that a governing body will just vote themselves a raise.

THEN... the board of ed (teachers union) will propose a school budget. It ALWAYS includes a raise which will make taxes go up. What they DONT tell you ..is that the public votes YES or NO on the budget...and where im from if you vote NO...they just don't get the "additional" money right away.

Here's what happens...

If your town is strapped...and you vote "no". The board goes to the town to see how much of the RAISE should be cut from the top...If the board doesn't like the result..they go to Trenton and appeal the cut (to the raise). They can do this. If they're good enough, they can just get the budget they wanted in the first place...and make you wonder why there was even an election. So you get mad. And you wonder why they don't want it on general election months? its because they want less people voting. (like the GOP does)..and you get more mad.

There was a town not long a go that wanted to make additions to one of their schools...so they had a referendum vote..The town voted "NO". The board of ed hired a PR firm for tens of thousands of TAX dollars to make a commercial which basically said "you people are stupid... we need this addition...we should vote again and this time don't be stupid". They had a second vote. The town voted "NO". The school board appealed to trenton to have the addition done because the public obviously had no idea what they were doing by voting no twice. The addition was done. Taxes went up... People got MADDER at teachers.

That what gets voters mad...its as though voting doesn't matter. They get what they want...and they treat the public like morons.

And this is the worst part...THEY USE THE KIDS AS WEAPONS.

Every time the budget is in danger of not passing...(AND SIMPLY BEING STUCK AT THE PRIOR YEAR'S BUDGET WITHOUT A HIKE)... they send your kids home with notes and armed with programmed lines like
"If you don't pass the school budget....they're gonna close down the wood shop...or the drama club etc"

I've actually seen kids get organized by teachers to have a "walk out" from school...to protest a town not passing a budget. Then the same school system will suspend kids that "walk out" to protest something that wasn't organized by the teachers union.

It's ridiculous.

And that's why private people don't like you despite all the great things most of you do at work.

Some people see the big picture... like me.

Some don't .. and they're the ones that zillionaire corporations use against you.

Those are the people that Chris Christie and the jerks at NJ101.5 can con into believing that YOU - Sue - A TEACHER... needs to lost all job security and that you are not paying your "fair share" while GE pays no taxes at all and no one is mad at that.

THE TEACHERS UNION..IS AN ENABLER.

 

While corrupt scumbag Councilman Jackass is walking around town petting your dog and pretending to care that there's a pothole in front of your house... your union is telling people that they are morons for voting how they feel and that you don't care how they vote cause you'll get your money anyway.

It's all about Attitude.

The average cop is a hero...people have no idea what goes into a typical day as a cop...from saving people to having to walk into on family emergencies to finding lost pets...to helping someone with a broken down car....
THAT NEVER GETS NOTICED...

What does get noticed?

ATTITUDE..

Where I'm from...cops are taught in the police academy that civilians are called "shit-ums" - kind of a lower life form than cops. "That's why cops have to stick together". For whatever reason, the academy is taught with the same kind of "US vs THEM" mentality that the Marines teach in their boot camps. When you become a cop...you are brainwashed that you are a higher form of person than the lowly shit-ums who don't understand what it's like to risk your ass protecting life and property etc. instead of thanking you, they hate you cause they don't like laws. Then you seal yourself in your car (older cops used to walk around town..you'll remember people used to like you because you interacted with them more) and ride around looking for cars to stop with over due stickers and hoping to stop some one and get a quick and cool drug or warrant arrest out of it.

They say training is needed because there needs to be a brotherhood and a teamwork among cops. I'm still trying to work that one out and prove it right or wrong. Either way....it's turned into a big us vs them thing that was NOT started by civilians. That's why way too often the crimes of corrupt cops get covered up by very good cops and then they wonder why people don't like cops in general. Because to many good cops... "the worst cop is still on of "us" and the "them" will never understand." Cops are 100% wrong with that thinking and they will never understand how wrong it is and exactly how greatly it contributes to why people don't appreciate them. But..that mentality is drilled into them.

Again... its attitude.

I have a very large percentage of friends that are cops and they all have the us vs the public thinking. Some of them are legitimate heros...they've saved lives... they go out every day protecting people. But they'll blow red lights and speed and talk on their cell phones driving while on and off duty... but ticket YOU for doing that same thing. People see that..It's an attitude thing.

Here's what the Chris Christie rooting..right wing radio listening Teabagger citizen thinks sums you up in one paragraph:

"They'll make 80K a year and have a better pension plan than anyone around and all have enough time off to have side jobs as roofers ands landscapers that they sometimes even work on while they're supposed to be working as cops....and they bargain for shifts where half the week they don't have to be anywhere near the town they protect. Then they get a "side job" on days off that pay more money than you'll see in a week and COMPLAIN that they have to stand outside their car in a traffic vest while the company that pays them could have hired 4-5 unemployed people as "flag men" for 12 dollars an hour without the attitude"

Are they wrong in thinking that?

Just about every cop is a better person than just about every politician... but people don't see that. They just see you getting free lunch at MCDs and looking for traffic arrests and trying to find places to sit to pass the time. You're mostly heros but people don't see that. And its because you developed that US vs THEM attitude ...it was taught to you and you believe in it.

Your unions and your stupid wanna-be USMC Police Academy PT instructors are ENABLERS...

They (and unfortunately now you) enable Gov Christie and his kind to make people ROOT for them when they screw you out of your benefits and lay half your departments off.

 

Same with PUBLIC WORKS employees....FIREMEN.....etc.

Some towns the public works people do a lot..

That's not what people see.

They see every truck at 7-11 during the snow storm while their road wasn't plowed yet. They'll see the guy who picks up branches..that never gets out of his truck anymore... the old people remember when they used to get out and clean up everything. But things are different now...and the workers don't want to hear it...They're "civil service"....they do their work and go home...and again....Attitude.

Firemen....the perception is that they sit around watching TV when its not busy.. they have no idea what you do. But there's no PR campaign to make them more likeable....there's no one walking around. There's only unions bargaining the towns for more days off for more pay.

Public employees... people see you the way they should be seeing the local and regional politicians. Money leeches doing nothing and complaining because its not enough.

MOST of the time you're doing nothing wrong other than just not showing people that they are seeing you wrong,,,,

You're all valuable but there's a reason people are mad at you.

It can all be solved with a little attitude change.

A little public relations can go a long way.

 

You are enabling the very worst people of this country to use you as a way to make themselves more and more wealthy.

And stupid people are rooting for the bad guys.

Because the bad guys stay out of sight and you see them every day and manage to piss them off one way or another

When did we go from being "unemployed bums sitting around collecting our unemployment and welfare checks" to having "better jobs and benefits than you do?"

I must have missed something because I'm poor and not collecting anything...

Right now.. I cant afford to put more oil in the tank at home and am warming the house this last month by boiling pots of water on my stove.
